GHANA'S PRESIDENT VISIT TO U.S

President Atta Mills to visit the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA as a reciprocate of Presient Barack Obama visit to Ghana three years ago. The visit plan to America is nice and formidable.
I saw President Barack Obama's visit to Ghana last three years ago as being biased because he ignored visiting countries like Nigeria,South-Africa,Egypt and Kenya even when there is bad governance there. He can visit and encourage them to good governance.
He could have visited these countries and advised them as a brilliant politician and a mentor and a lover of peace. Therefore he could still changed his mind and pay all these countries visit even if he can visit most countries in Africa and advised and promote transparency and democracy because Africa needs it.

CRUDE OIL THEFT IN NIGERIA!

  Nigeria is the Africa most populous country. she is also the highest producer of oil in Africa and 5th largest in the world. She got her independence from Great Britain and discovered the OIL BOOM in early '70's. 
 Before the oil boom many citizens take to agriculture. After the discovery many citizens dropped agriculture for white collar jobs.The oil discovery had been a blessing to us but it is like curse because money got from oil boom is emblezzle by government officials. More than half population of Nigeria live in less than 2 dollars per day. What a shame! 
  Most of the oil refined is got from the Niger delta region of Nigeria. In this area, it has been spoilt by oil spillage on the rivers,oceans and so which are very dangerous to aquactic animals like fishes,prawns,crabs etc. The people who live in this region are really suffering from government negligence and pooor infrastructures.
  All these bad factors has contributed to the emergence of the NIGER DELTA MILITANT GROUP. This group has done major blockages,damages and kidnapping of oil workers in the area.
 The government of Nigeria had deployed numbers of military to counterract them but still no hope!
  Oil theft one way or the other from both government officials,militant group and indigenes living in the area has given Nigeria a big loss and has always cause oil scarcity in the 5th largest producer of oil  and largest producer of oil in Africa. It is really sad for Nigerians to continue with oil theft that has no end because it will dim the country's future and development. The government of Nigeria has to try hard to put end to this appaling situation for development and peace in the region and Nigeria.
